University court provides a higher standard of living

New students attending LSU Shreveport are often challenged with finding a temporary form of residency that best suits their needs, but University Court proves to be the best option.

The convenient location of the LSUS campus is within close proximity to five apartment complexes: Towne Oaks South Apartments, Millicent Crossing Apartments, Raintree Apartments, Sommerset Apartments, and The Boulders on Fern.

All five complexes offer average $650-$680 per month with an average 700 square feet of living space. Crime remains consistent in all of these with the exception of Sommerset Apartments and The Boulders on Fern. Neither have reported incidents in one month.

Towne Oaks South Apartments suffers from a higher crime rate than all other options. This includes two car burglaries within the last month. University Court continues to improve through added flexibility for students where all others fall short.

With academic and full-year leasing options, fully furnished living spaces, pool/spa access, Wi-Fi, and steadily decreasing crime rates, University Court provides the best value for new students. Its location cuts on down on transportation expenses while the main campus and dining attractions remain within walking distance.

The LSUS Police Department’s annual 2014 security report shows a declination in campus crime. The decrease in crime incidents went from four in 2011 to one in 2013.

The prolonged efforts of LSUS Police and the LSUS student body are rapidly building a lasting reputation for University Court, offering a healthy academic lifestyle for those who are making LSUS their alma mater.
