Game one did not start well for LSUS. Starter Brock Lucas had a rough first inning, giving up three runs and narrowly avoiding giving up more. The Pilots were not rattled however, as they slowly climbed back, one run at a time. By the fourth inning, the scoreboard had LSUS up 4-3.
